The Great Big Green week is the UK’s biggest ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature and communities are invited to take part.
Wem Rural Parish Council in partnership with Wem Town Council and Wem Area Climate Action are hosting a Climate Conversation on Saturday 15th June between 10am-12noon outside the Co-op on Jubilee Square in Wem, where they will be joined by 10 stalls from local community groups and organisations.
During the event visitors will be able to find out more about how they can reduce their carbon footprint, take part in a range of fun crafts and activities and talk to stall holders about the impact they are making to raise awareness of climate change.
