WWI – France & Flanders; a Wem & Surrounds perspective. The talk will concentrate on the West European Theatre. Alex Williamson who has toured the battlefields of this area will lead this event. Some individuals from Wem & Surrounds will be linked to the battles.

This is your opportunity to meet other parishioners and local councillors, raise questions, matters of current concern or future ambitions for our Parish.

Wem Rural Parish Council would like to invite you to attend the Annual Parish Meeting. This is your opportunity to meet other parishioners and local councillors and to raise questions, matters of current concern or future ambitions for the Parish.
The theme for this year’s parish meeting is Rural Crime and West Mercia Police will be joining us to share ways to prevent rural crime, listen to any concerns and to remind us about the importance of reporting crime.
