Parish Meetings

Annual Parish Meetings

Parish Meetings are meetings of the electorate of the Parish and not just Parish Councillors.

There is an Annual Meeting held each year for residents to meet with local councillors and raise any areas of concern. You don’t have to wait for the Annual Meeting to talk with your local councillors and you can contact them directly.

Parish Meetings are meetings of the electorate of the Parish and not just Parish Councillors.

Wem Rural Parish Council would like to invite you to attend the Annual Parish Meeting. This is your opportunity to meet other parishioners and local councillors and to raise questions, matters of current concern or future ambitions for the Parish.
The theme for this year’s parish meeting is Rural Crime and West Mercia Police will be joining us to share ways to prevent rural crime, listen to any concerns and to remind us about the importance of reporting crime.
5pm – Welcome & refreshments and meet local Parish Councillors
5.30pm – Presentation
6.00pm – Q&A
7.00pm – Finish
As refreshments will be provided please let us know if you will be attending. You can sign up here or contact the clerk.
