Cllr Jordan Page from Wem Rural Parish Council has been to visit 1st Wem Scouts in order to present them with a cheque of £500.
The money will be used to help with their running costs and helps the Scouts to be fully inclusive so more families with significant income restrictions can fully take part in activities.
Jordan, along with other fellow councillors will be returning to the Scouts later on in the year and talk to them about their future priorities.
