The Big Help Out is a national day of volunteering happening on Monday 8 May 2023 and is set to be one of the centrepieces of the celebrations for the Coronation of HM The King and HM The Queen Consort.
As part of this initiative, The Friends of Whitchurch Road Cemetery are holding a volunteer event at the cemetery 10.00am on 8 May. Please join us and lend a hand!
They need people of all ages to help to clean and prepare the 200-metre perimeter fence prior to painting with wood protector (the painting will be done at a later date).
Preparing the fence is no mean task and they will need all the help they can get!
If possible, they will also prepare the front railings prior to painting and there may be other worthwhile tasks on the day.
