Highways
Shropshire Council undertakes regular and thorough inspections of Shropshire’s road networks in order to fulfil its statutory duties as a Highways’ Authority. Network defects are recorded during these inspections.
However, the comparatively minor defects which cause concern and problems for local communities may not be readily identified. Parish Councils and local residents are better equipped to identify the minor defects that they would like to see corrected.
These defects can be reported direct to Shropshire Council or through the Parish Council. The Parish Council keeps a log of issues raised with the Highways Maintenance Team.
